Lin and I will be leaving town this afternoon for her grandmother's funeral and won't be back for the rest of the week. I am going to try and do some comics before we go so I can update from there, but since I'm getting my master's degree on Saturday and don't have anything to wear yet, I have a funny feeling I'm going to be a long time at the mall. My opinion is that all I need is a collar and the bottom half of a pair of pants since the rest of me will be covered in their fancy version of a wizard's robe (the magical kind, not the racist kind), but apparently Lin thinks otherwise, and they only sell that kind of thing at special stores anyway.
Anyway, things seem to be settling down on the site. Every time Jeph links to my site, I realize that I really need to switch hosting companies (and redesign the site, but that's in progress). Anybody know of a good, cheap one that is solid?
I got the rest of my Vonnegut books in the (oh, now I am just abusing my parenthetical priveliges) mail yesterday, so the Summer of Vonnegut is officially on. I am midway through Player Piano, and after that I have seven more of his novels that I've never read. At the end of it I plan to either write an article about the experience or never speak of it again (this is what you do when you have an advanced English degree, right?).
That's it. If I do another one this week I'll see you tomorrow. If I don't I'll probably see you Monday.
